A Few Kind Words From StanceWorks

Tuesday, 09 February 2010 19:21 The Webmaster Lifestyle

stanceworksIn our busy lives, we are so wrapped up with work, cars and other things, we often forget how the small things make a big difference in our daily routine. I decided to take a step back to give my personal regards to StanceWorks, a forum whose motto reads: "Low is a Lifestyle."

Some of you may have noticed that our next Night Sessions Car Show and Lifestyle Event is coming this May. We took the initiative to get the forums more involved by offering them booth space at no charge. Although we will lose money on selling vendor space, this is in line with our vision of growing the scene and creating a stronger and more cohesive car community. We invited a number of forums to attend including StanceWorks. We received a very polite email stating that they could not attend due to prior commitments which was very understandable. You may ask, "What is so great about being turned down?" It wasn't the fact that they weren't coming, that pleased us, it was this particular line in their email that made our day:

"As an aside, thank you for continually pushing the scene and encouraging growth." - Ben, StanceWorks

We appreciate it when our efforts for improving the scene are noticed. Even though change is not easy, an encouraging word keeps us going. Many of us claim to be enthusiasts but when forums take an active part in the community by attending, supporting and sponsoring events, you know our scene is on the right track. No, they are not able to attend Night Sessions this time around, but their commitment to attend several other events speaks volumes. Check out the video coverage we did awhile back for StanceWorks Stance of the Union's car meet. We also encourage you to visit their site at: www.StanceWorks.com.

I agree Stance / slamming cars has got huge, has been big for a while, but its almost head to head with aftermarket wheels, I hear so many people sayin "im going to get rims then drop it." it takes work, creativity, time, and money just like any other aspect of auto modding. nice to see the support I hope they are able to make it next time,
